As much as I feel bad, if it was anyone else, there wouldn't have been the same type of investigation, if one at all.
But I do believe that giving up football to fight for our country was one of the best things I've seen out of pro sports in a while. I respect what he did and he deserved so much more than dying due to negligence for that. (I hope that didn't come off wrong. I'm tired and for some reason, nothing wants to come out coherently.)

So he died....give it a break already
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

You're saying we should forget someone who honorably died for his country? Fuck the fact that he played football....you got some nerve. I bet if that was your uncle or your brother you wouldn't feel the same way. It's easy sitting at home knowing that you won't ever be over there to so quickly move on.
But...on to this..... I don't see the point in further investigating it....what will it bring except more pain for the family? If we find out that the person who killed Pat Tillman shouldnt have been holding a gun....that'll do what for us?
I suppose there is a need to have the truth....but this shouldn't be made big news...it should stay private between the family and the army.
R.I.P.

What I'm saying is why drag this on? If they were going to investigate they should have done it right away. Why drag it all back up.
