This just happened here. Gotta love the street justice!

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- Police responding to a call about a possible robbery Thursday night in Jacksonville Beach said they found the accused thief lying on the ground injured near the crime scene.
William Mills
William Mills is charged with strong armed robbery.

Authorities identified William Mills, 44, as their suspect in an attempted robbery. Mills suffered a broken leg after being run down by a woman in a car who apparently witnessed the robbery, according to police.

According to the police report:

"The victim and her daughter left a local restaurant. As they approached their vehicle in the parking lot, a white male ran up to the victim and grabbed her purse. The victim fought with the suspect. The victim was punched by the suspect. The 12-year-old daughter attempted to help her mother and was reportedly hit by the suspect. The suspect was able to obtain the victim†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢s wallet and ran from the scene. While fleeing the scene the suspect was followed by an apparent eye witness to the crime. The witness (only identified as a white female) drove her vehicle described only as a tan sedan, after the suspect and ran into him with her vehicle making him unable to flee. The witness then took back the victim†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢s money from the suspect and returned it to the victim."

After the incident Mills was transported to Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center for treatment where he was absentee booked into Duval County Jail on charges of strong armed robbery.

Police interviewed additional witnesses at the scene, but no one was able to identify the woman who ran into Mills.

Well that's a way to stop him
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard
