Issues with eMule
My eMule has been acting up. I'll type something in the search but no results will come up. I'll type in something that I had searched before and gotten tons of results for, but still nothing comes up. Any ideas?

You're using the same ports you were using before?, try looking up different ports. Have you looked into Port Forwarding?. Are you even getting a list of servers?. Keep in mind that there are ongoing crackdowns on P2P apps and content.

As far as I know I haven't touched the ports.

I just clicked test ports under Connection, and this is what I got...
Starting TCP connection test...
TCP test failed! UDP test will not be performed.
Connection test finished.
Results in detail:
* TCP connection test failed.
It was not possible, to establish a TCP connection to your eMule.
Other users will only be able to connect to you with the help of a server, resulting in a low ID for you. While eMule still works, this will give you several disadvantages. Therfore it is highly recommended to solve this problem.
How to resolve port problems... Something is interfering with your network communications. There are two main reasons for this:
* If you are using a firewall, ensure that your firwall don't block the required ports! You might need to set a rule to allow the ports to be available.
* If you use a router, make sure that your router forwards the required ports to your local IP!

You shoud probably diable your WiFi adapters firwall and use the standard windows Firewall for when you are using emule, unless you have advanced configuration options for your WiFi FW...

might wanna follow instructions for Port Forwarding, kid. I'm behind a fucking lava cascade of a firewall...and I'm still downloading from Emule. I did notice that there is an alarming decline on available servers...I think it might be this crackdown on P2P.

Yup, port forwarding is probably the issue - otherwise disable Windows Firewall and make sure NAT is enabled- it fucked up my Cisco Voip phone, lol

If any of you chaps would like to get off that stinkin' ass p2p shit, and need an alternative, let me know...It is not free, but p2p just can't compare....
