what mostly sucks is that WE DON'T BUY THEIR OIL!!!
it affects us collaterally.
but the fact is this is all part of the regional attitude, which is all about scamming and bluffing and huffing and puffing as much as you can.
it has been for some long time. this is a people who do not regard arrogance as a negative trait, keep in mind.
but the whole region relies on oil for its economy, and will collapse within a year if that supply is disrupted.
this is strategically designed to raise the cost of oil, which iran has said is a major motivation. They have already said oil should be more than $100 a barrel, and they will play their hand to get as close that price as possible.

That's what pisses me off... we don't depend on their oil... they do... yet they can still fuck us just enough without fucking themselves too.
