Israel: Palestinian explosives caused beach deaths
I'd like to know what the deal is with this Human Rights Watch group...

they are no doubt ballistics experts.
I mean they are a human watch group.
newsflash: bullets do not throw shrapnel everywhere, or leave craters.

It amazes me that they're giving Israel a hard time for supposedly firing a shell on the beach... but has anything been said about the Palestinians putting mines on the beach? lol
You gotta love these human rights groups...

Yea seriously...it's not like they're perfect. They have killed plenty in their day also...
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Human Rights Watch, a US-based group, has already inspected the site of the explosion.
Marc Garlasco, a former Pentagon adviser who is now a military analyst with the group, said: "It is my contention that the most likely scenario is that Israeli shelling hit the area."
Of Israeli suggestions that the blast was caused by a Palestinian mine, he said: "This is patently not the case." He told AFP: "We are very certain that it is a 155mm shell."
hmm. raum and kramer. seems like HRW DOES know a thing or two about ballistics. Israel could still as well be responsible.
but what I find MOST amazing about this story is the fact that it has gotten so big. I dilligently read up on PA-Is (almost) DAILY and I about missed this story. I think I am getting used to civilian deaths. you know that on only this Tuesday another 9 Palestinian civilians were offed? but well. you guys will probably be quick to dismiss this as very unfortunate and collateral damage and point me to the fact the PA actions consequently target civilians. all are true, but still with almost 4000 palestinian deaths since sept. 30th 2000 all that makes me think if Israel is any better.

This former pentagon advisor you speak has sold, um I mean "leaked" information from his previous position to the media before. Look up Poland for a small sample. of course, this Human rights watch report wouldn't be twisted in any way, huh?
I mean sure it is an organization that George Soros funds and runs, but the have "HUMAN RIGHTS" in their name.
They must be clean and innocent.

but let's see how "qualified" marc Galasco is by his own testimony:
QUOTERight before I took my job at Human Rights Watch, I was the chief of high value targeting working out of the Pentagon, and was pretty heavily involved in the war in Iraq. I think the most aim points I had going down in any one night was about 411 weapons. On the 11th of April of 2003, I left. I, I worked my last air strike. And so I†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢m intimately familiar with targeting and how bombs actually meet their targets.
problem with that, my friend. the operation ended on April 9th.
----
A pencil pushing civilian who did time in the pentagon equipped with a id card who admittedly knew nothing of statistics and couldn't actually follow a conversation about a tactical air strike on tv who never recieved weapons training and damn near cired while comparing Haditha to My Lai before any guilt was established. who has a BA in Government and a M.A. in International Relations.
Yeah, this guy shows up three days after the incident, sees a crater no present in the RUSHED footage from the camera crew that seems to have been on standby, which mysteriously appeared after everyone noticed there was no crater and israel reported it,.. so he walks up to a WHITE CRATER (not a burnt one) that was not on the original footage (doctored to show iraeli fire - family screaming - israel assess target - fire - family screaming amid chaos) and gives "expert" opinion. You know this organization is funded by George Soros, right?
and of all the shells, and all the missiles, and all the violence,.. THIS?? This is the straw that breaks HAMAS's back?
..they don't drug test at your work, huh, Brains?

what can I say. apparently it is the straw that breaks Hamas's back. it was bound to got broken sooner or later. they observed a cease-fire for almost a year and a half, while Israel did not. what do you want?
actually. come to think of it. at iex i mentioned it is easier for Israel to withhold aggression and it is - or should be. even so, it was Hamas breaking out of the vicious circle of attack and retaliation. and what do they get after being democratically elected? a boycot because they do not verbally say what Israel wants - although they observed a more peaceful period for a long time already (referring to these 1.5y). bloody, bloody strange how the world works.
you're first link points to an article with title "Garlasco is at it again". Not exactly a fair and balanced way to start an supposedly unbiased news item, is it? And really funny - although they are correct there - they mock other news sites for doing that exact same thing. oh irony. lol
btw: drug tests at work is not allowed in Belgium. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

QUOTEa boycot because they do not verbally say what Israel wants
ok, do you really think that is the issue?
How about you say, "they would not renounce the actual verbatim tenet in their founding documents that calls for the destruction of Israel, even if it requires the death of every Jew. How about you say, they hemmed and hawed about peace with their neighbors, at the same time they would never say they considered Israel a neighbor, which by their tenets carries no HAMAS obligation of Peace between Israel and Palestine."
Here is their own words (in translation) http://www.mideastweb.org/hamas.htm
Here are some of the sentiments they ARE FOUNDED UPON, verbatim in their Charter, regarding Jews and Israel:
[quote]"Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it."
"The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up. "
"There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors."
quote]
(This is from mideastweb.org a group dedicated to promoting peace and coexistence of peoples in The Middle East, and unlike Human Rights Watch, mideastweb.org is NOT owned by George Soros.)
Here is an unabashed look at HAMAS in detail. and their design to abolish Israel, and reclaim all the lands called Palestine by the Romans, where all Jews, Christians, and Muslims can live, according to their station, under the supreme banner of Islam.
------------
They have recieved far more tolerance than they should be afforded.
for you this is clearly about who has guns and who is using them. for the world this is about whether a country can ruled by people who preach the destruction of other nations. If that is the world we live in now, i need to call the president, cause I got a list of places he can start with.
Let's raise a supreme banner of our own!
or, Brains, are you going to criticize me for saying that because I am a member of nation that could actually make good on such a proposal? Seems to me like, for you, its ok if these people just talk smack, and live in their racist and potentially genocidal delusion, because they are powerless to do anything about it. That is a sophistication that caused the Romans to be slaughtered by the Muslims. It has no place in dealing with Shahada Muhajidin, suicidal Muslim warriors, and you are evidentally blind to see that.

Bottom line: PEOPLE ARE DEAD.
I've been trough the war in wich civilians died every day, on both sides. Trust me, for the families of the killed it is very irrelevant.
IT IS DONE BY IDIOTS, most likely they'll never be found...
And the vicious circle goes on.
