This is awesome. Even though Lance isn't in the Tour anymore, it's great to see the US pull out a win like this!
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

It's offical, USA over the Frogs once again. Next week, Landis will be accused of doping by the French media.

That's about right. Since he rode on that bad hip he must have taken some steroids so that he could keep riding...

this soldier wasn't even taking ibuprofen, man.
I didn't pay as much attention to this, because my peeps in the places that were safe in the middle east are getting pulled into the thick of shit they ain't never stepped in before.
and work cranks down at the same time, doncha know?

Yea, it was a great job to usher in the post-Lance era. I really think it helped keep people interested with out one of the greatest athletes ever

You just had to go and say "one of the greatest athletes ever" ?
I'll put that aside for now......cause this is one hell of an accomplishment.
I remember rooting for him when I heard about the hip and everything...but then hearing that he lost by like 11 minutes on one race so his chances were slim....and now he came back and won it anyway? Damn....Good Job Landis

Wait a second....you don't think that Lance Armstrong was one of the greatest athletes ever? Winning the Tour de France, prolly the hardest race in sports, 7 times in a row after having a ball removed from cancer does make him one of the greatest athletes ever? What does he have to do? Be in better shape than anyone else with a resting heartbeat of around 24 bpm? That means a normal person's heart beats 3 times as much. I don't know what else it'll take to make him one of the greatest athletes ever
