Sidenote, back when I was a younger me,.. I almost moved to wellington. back in 98, that was.
but me girl flaked(we were gonna get married, and they would help us move there!)
I remember when I was looking it up, and the big debate was why a driver's license needed a picture on it. hehe

I KNOW *that*... but I thought it VERY odd that it was a "hot topic" in their political scene, and there were some old-timers and maori who were down-right flaming mad that they might have to get their picture taken.
