Am I the only one that thinks WMP has the worst of the lot..? Goodness, those fucking things are not cool at all...Have any of you ever made or designed one..? The only one that I've ever saw that I thought was cool was something called 'Cosmic Belt' I think, but it was for an antiquidated player called Sonique, and I also saw it for the early, early version of Real Jukebox...
If I could, I'd convert it, or at least try to, the WMP viz are total shit...Maybe only like one or two I like...

I agree! The thing that boggles me is why the hell are ya even using wmp?
My current favorite audio player is xmplayer; lightweight, no install required, can use winamp skins and some plugins, and has a nice variety of visuals, including Cor's Cosmic Belt 1.2, Starlight Aurora, miffo starcorp, and acidspunk.

Do you have to wonder why I love you..?
I think we've talked about this before, but the only reason I use WMP is because it does seeking, you can drag the little slider along to get to a certain time marker in a video...
I think WMP classic does it tho, but none of the others, VLC and such, do...
I'll be trying out this new player tho, e, thanks for the tip..!

seeking ability is highly video file dependant (if the video stream is properly indexed), vlc seeks fine for me with most files. goto the preferences option and you can even set your hot keys for 10second, 1 minute, 10 minute skip ahead/back. also, winamp with the right plugins makes one helluva vid player too!

Hmmm...
How come nobody said that in my VLC thread..? LoL...
The ultimate, is to be able to seek in files like Quicktime...You can move the slider backwards and forwards as much as you want...Not even WMP can do that...

the only thing that sucks about vlc is that you dont have a slider (for mouse control) on full screen mode.
