There's a scene in "The Patriot" where the Brits
lock all townspeople in the local church and then burn them alive. Maybe it's the thought of innocent women and children being killed, or the whole burning alive thing-- but that scene really disturbed me.
Most disturbing movie you have ever seen..?

It was just uncalled for. I remember the rape scene in Showgirls but it had a purpose. This one, on some young teenaged girl, was just...ruined the movie.

The most disturbing film for me was the first ALIEN movie, because before I saw it, I bought the doll of the monster in it!
After I saw the flick, I dreamt that the doll came to life and came after me! I screamed and I fell out of bed!

I think I can handle most movies. I cringe at some scary movies. I couldn't watch the part in Saw where the guy had to cut into his eye. I still don't know if they show it cause my eyes are always covered just in case.
Any move that has men getting raped makes me want to vomit. Butt sex...*shiver*

Damn, I was hoping you'd changed your view on that...Male to female anyway...
Speaking of male anal rape, I'd almost forgotten about that serious business Ving Rhames got in Pulp Fiction...I have a skill, really, to see fucked up shit in a movie and completely ignore it...Hahaha...

I really don't know what film has been the most disturbing that I've seen.
I've seen The Silence of the Lambs, which alot of people I know (including my mother) find VERY disturbing. I did find some parts disturbing & creepy, but I was more curious and interested. I cheer now when I watch Clarice Starling shoot the fuck outta Jame Gumb and the blood splatters & gurgles out of his mouth as his fists clench up at the end. Benjamin Raspael's head in the jar, in that car in the "Yourself Storage" storage place, is more gross than disturbing. I can even be (relatively) comfortable watching Hannibal Lecter needle Clarice with his harsh confronting words, and blatant intidimation as he hisses "The census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver, with some fava beans, and a nice Chianti. Ssssttthhhssss!!!"
I think the creepiest part of that film for me, is when Clarice is taken down into the depths of the insane asylum, those big white doors opening and then the gate to the dark murky tunnel-like corridor to Lecter's cell.
I was, and still am, disturbed by how Miggs says to Clarice "I can smell your cunt", by Lecter making Clarice recite was Miggs said to her, and when Miggs jacks off and flicks his semen onto Clarice's face. That was/is pretty disturbing.
I've also seen The People Under the Stairs, although that was under my mother's supervision, and her finger heavily on the fast-forward button. It was creepy until the end, where it got kind of humourus and silly how the people would pop out of every cupboard and door. More of a novelty really.
Oh, I found The Green Mile VERY disturbing. Terrifying in fact. As much as I am fascinated by electricity, I am terrified of it. I was at my parents house, and had a big argument with my sister. As the film came on the tv, she made me watch it. I was completely freaked out listening to the electric squeals and sizzles as the prisoners got electrocuted in Ol' Sparky. When one of the prisoners gets literally fried because of a dry sponge, seeing the flames flare from under his hood, and later his torched and rotted face in the aftermath, was VERY disturbing.
I was also quite disturbed when the real murderer of the two girls, sexually assaults one of the guards, by sticking his finger up the guard's arsehole, and the guard urinates himself, and then the murderer smells and licks his finger and says "phew!" as if the guard (probably) defacated himself.
Alien also contains a rather disturbing scene- where the alien's pale-coloured inner mouth shoots out and takes a bite of Brett's brain through his cap, seeing his brain & skull being ripped apart and him screaming his lungs out as the blood poors down his face.
Also, I found it rather disturbing when Lambert gets raped by the alien's tail. You just see the alien's tail come between her legs from behind her, and possibly injecting into her perinium (between her vagina and anus)- you just hear the horrific scream of rape, that's very disturbing and terrifying.
Yet, Alien, along with Silence of the Lambs, is one of my most favourite films of all. I actually like it that it has that psychotic psychological fear & terror. If the alien just stomped along and ate people up, rather than creep up silently, it wouldn't be as scary.
I haven't listed the rape scene by the crooked hillbillies in Deliverance, because at the time of watching that, I was trying to avoid seeing a sheep getting garotted (I later had to wash it out, we were slaughtering it for dinner). I didn't cover my eyes, just watched out of the corner of my eye from a far distance.
Although not a film, I was a bit disturbed to see one prisoner force a spoon up another prisoner's arsehole in the tv show Oz. It was the first time I saw that show, in fact just last Monday during this week.

'High Tension' would be my choice, that guy using a freshly cut off head to give himself a BJ did it for me.
