The biggest was probably Ryan Smyth. I think the Oilers got a good deal, though. It's pretty much already been decided that they won't be making the playoffs.

i agree that the oilers did well. it's a shame they had to trade the heart and soul of their team.
it's a risky deal for the islanders...if smyth doesn't re-sign or the team doesn't go far in the playoffs...it's a terrible move.

I think the teams that'll go furthest are actually the two that did not do much at the deadline: Anaheim and New Jersey.
