One thing that is on the mind is that your daughter's "friend" is a horrible one; or at the very least, I would think she is looking to hurt and/or "pay back" your daughter for some past transgression, and you are the current medium of this mode of reprisal. Whether or not the nameless college girl seeks to divulge your little tryst is not really the issue; she is firmly in control of this secret invisible umbrella that can potentially stagger your daughter, and your subsequent relationship with her.
