:o

Her face isn't as pretty as I had remembered in that one picture I saw of her. Kinda creepy doll-like.

But that is some dress. and cleavage.

Kanye did make it onto jay leno's show to apologize for his behaviour. But I agree no such thing as a bad publicity. But yeah dude should stay behind the scene not in front shooting his mouth off.

Obama called him a jackass, lol...Gotta love the President, lol...

And Katy Perry...She might not be cute, but I can tell you easy what I like about her...Not only does she look like she's built to take an immense pounding and beg for more, but she probably expects it...Like, give you the steely "bring it on motherfucker" gaze when you put the cock in her butt without lube or something...

Call him whatever you want for what he did....but that shit created a ton of publicity, and you better believe publicity is a good thing.

This topic seems to have moved on after everyone dropped in to add their "yeah, he's a prick" comment....but the dude sure knows how to get people to talk about him.

I know I've been bumping his music since the day it happened...

When you say "bumping his music", do you mean consuming more of it, or eschewing it?

I have a feeling it's the former, but I'm the opposite kind of reactionary. As soon as i heard and saw the controversy about Amy Winehouse some years ago, I couldn't throw her "Frank" CD far enough or fast enough to wash myself of any part of her lifestyle.

I can;t or won't even try to remember any of her works. To a degree, this is the same for Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, but they actually had lasting talent, so I can forgive them for their faults somewhat.

I don't really fault Kanye for what he did; he was most likely drunk, deranged, egotistical (as always) and others are saying, still grieving over the passing of his mother and it culminated on stage that night. I just stay away from stupidness for a time. Kanye is (was) a good entrepreneur, but I don't really buy, consume, or listen to his records because of what he does at celebrity events or on daytime TV. The less I know about an artist, I think the happier I am.

I am not one of those people able to disconnect from my overall perception...

I liked R.Kelly as much as the next man, but when I found out he likes to fuck little girls, I stopped pumping his music...No self righteous reasons, I just can't think about him without remembering what he's done...I find it it disgusting to me personally, and I can't put it past his talent...

For what its worth, I doubt Kanye is a far fetch from how he is perceived in the media...I have been around egotistical morons before, and when I get the notion to knock you in the fucking head, its time for me to not hang with you...If there is a chance I could be around you and you embarrass me, or do something to make me or you look stupid, I'd rather not fuck with you...Like I said, I don't give a damn about Taylor Swift, but that shit was wrong...I haven't given a damn about Kanye since he made that comment during Katrina....While other people were out doing things to help, he's on TV being a dumbass...So, while I think he's talented, he will obliterate himself and the next young gun will take his place...

If I was Taylor's boyfriend, or that was my sister or anything like that, Kanye would answer to me for that shit...I can forgive many things, but being ignorant for the sake of being ignorant..? No thanks...

See, I'm the opposite in that regard. I try and separate my personal opinions from my professional opinions to the best of my abilities. I can totally make sense of why people wouldn't want to listen to Kells or 'Ye after they stuff did/do...and there is no doubt that Ye is an assholes sometimes. If he's not actually one deep down, then he needs to stop showing it...because celebrities are judged based on how they act in public, not in private...and based on that alone, Ye's record does not do him any favors.

Particularly when it comes to entertainers, I really try to ignore what they do in their personal lives when I'm consuming whatever it is they are producing. My perspective on this incident is simply that it got a lot of people talking about Ye...and in doing so, a lot of the statements about him were positive in regards to his musical ability. "Dude can really make music, but he's an egotistical prick"

Anytime you can get people to remember or acknowledge that you're good at your craft, regardless of whatever else they're saying, I have to think its a positive for you. Also, it gives his fans a chance to defend him and really re-discover how much they do enjoy the stuff he puts out.

For me, it was like..man that's kinda funny....it was rude, but when you look at the whole picture...Taylor made out better than if it didn't happen, so there aren't any lasting consequences to anyone but maybe Kanye himself. Then of course a lot of ignorance flowed through the pages and statuses on facebook...and it all just really made me realize "man, i haven't listened to late registration in a while, that was a good album"

Though I understand, that would just lead to many internal conflicts for me...And it works both ways...Say you make that 'horror-core' music or whatever they call that shit where you're rapping about cutting motherfuckers heads off and shit like that...You could be the nicest guy in the world...A loving father, doting husband...All that shit...But will my kid be having sleepovers at your house..? Probably not...I just don't think that its that easy to break it off...I can't enjoy a Maxwell album without thinking about all that shit that came out about him being gay...Is Kells writing songs thinking about a woman, or somebody's baby sister..? For me, it changes the meaning...People always talk about music being an expression of self, an art form...If you think and more importantly do fucked up shit, that's what you are...

Lets flip it for a minute...Lets say that somebody took a picture of themselves taking a dump on Kanye's mother tombstone...Think that he'd find that funny or amusing..? Think he'd be able to excuse someone of doing that..? What if Taylor got on stage and said, "I would like to thank my Mom for her support, love, and for staying in shape so she won't need a tummy tuck..." Somehow, I don't think Kanye would fin those things entertaining, or make him want to produce a song for Taylor...I've been as drunk as the next man, high as the next man, but there's just some shit you don't do...

not sure I can get my head around the conspiracy theory that it was all manufactured but I guess it's not impossible.
i can kinda see why Kanye would do it, if he feels that a great injustice was done but there's a time & a place & it sounds like he was just drunk & high
