Oh yeah I would too but it seems like with Loki's magic and powers it's kinda goofy for him to need the cube. The gauntlet is Odin's too? Wow. The Beyonder probably lives in Odin's basement apartment too polishing his Ultimate Nullifier. That sounded wrong....but you know what I mean.

There wasn't much dark magic from Loki. Not like his comics counterpart.

Don't laugh. I think I caught a glimpse of the Nullifier in that same stash.

Ok I saw it and all I can say is Yeesh! or should I say Oye! Unless you're a diehard Thor fan then you may dig this movie so Ube you can probably check it out and enjoy it like one of those Transformer movies. As long as you aren't expecting the character you grew up reading about it's ok then. If they did this to Superman you'd be pissed let me put it that way.

This was like a cliff notes version of a cliff notes version of the entire Thor history. It was Thor all MTVed up. I am so disappointed I can't even believe what I watched last night. I guess I can kinda get all the anger people had for X3 now. I was just a vague follower of the X-Men so to me X3 was not a bad brainless fun movie as long as you weren't that familiar with what shoulda been goin on. This was what Thor was to me. Just dumbed down fun. I suppose you have to do that with a 2 hour time constraint and the Avengers movie being ramped up but this really should have been a three movie stand alone that told the whole Thor story in it's own time. I'm afraid Captain America is gonna be the same thing now.

HAHA! Nice Anakin scream. That's the movie I was thinking about as I watched this though. Revenge of th Sith itself should have been spread over three movies instead of getting Phantom and Clones. And Thor should have shown his early days in Asgard and with ancient Swedes on Earth and then slowly gotten by the 3rd movie to modern day Earth. Yet I'm watching a review on youtube and they thought it was very faithful so I just don't get it. The Bendis generation.

Saw this yesterday...And...Despite not having any real idea of the comic book version of Thor, just the myths...And with all the warnings I read in this thread, I still feel confused...
Spoiler:
My biggest question is...WTF did they feel the need to make Loki a Frost Giant..?!?! And what the heck was the end teaser about..? I can't believe I sat through the credits for that shit..!
I mean, it was not a bad movie...And I actually think that the guy playing Thor was a pretty good fit...And I'm also keeping the PG-13 rating in mind, so I won't be to hard on it there, but...Sheesh...If you're going to cliff note and sum up, let us see Thor kicking ass the majority of the movie...Don't even get me started on the sidekicks, yeah, that might be beef #2...They kinda stunk, but again, I'm coming from the myths only, I don't know if they were comic faithful or not...

My biggest beef...Is, that for whatever reason, Mjöllnir just looked...Fake or something... :(
