looking for a new laptop. something high-end, at least a 15 inch monitor, ssd. i am not a gamer - not that a gaming laptop would be out of the question. Not a Mac/Apple.

Cheapest ones are around $99 but have hardly any space (I think a chunk of them use sd cards instead of a drive, and while those are getting slightly cheaper it's still not very practical to got to say 128GB.)
the high end are 1200+ still.

I just bought my wife an HP Spectre from Best Buy, fully loaded for about $750...It's got the stylus, touchscreen, a buttload of RAM. It's a very lightweight, 13" 4K resolution. I have the heavier, 15" model. Highly, highly recommended. Sorry again for how late I'm seeing this...
