As a testament to it's greatness, Firefox became the first open source community (that is saying A LOT) to take a 2 full page ad out in the New York Times, which is like one of if not the largest Newspapers in the world or something...Peep..!

Here is the Firefox NYT high resolution PDF

I had my small piece in helping spread Firefox, as I am no convinced that it is not only the most superior broswer, but an awesome piece of software, period...

So, if you are still not convinced of it's power, as I know you went here and got it, let me help...There may be those of us that dont' spend 20 hours a day working on the web, LoL, and would like to know some of the finer features, and or help adjust from IE...

I am no Firefox expert, but I understand it well now, and can probably help anyone that has an issue, or misses some Godforsaken piece of Internet Explorer functionality...By the time you get into Firefox, IE will be an afterthought...

Post Away..!

Thanks for the news story adp10! And I'm also glad that Mozilla got their ad into the New York Times!

I remember reading a story where the security chief at Microsoft actually had Firefox on his computer!

Fuckin' I ALWAYS despised IE. The first browser I used was Netscape, then my Dad had IE on his machine and I had to use that. It was terrible, just terrible. Then I got back onto Netscape again, and then a couple of months ago I read people were using Firefox and how it blocks a heap of shit like browsers are supposed to, and downloaded the beta version. Then the proper release I downloaded, and web browsing has been alot better!

I think it is lazy to use IE just because it comes preloaded. In another forum I stressed the cons about IE and how Firefox was so good, and the responses that I got was "95% of people don't even know what spyware is" "Most people don't care about spyware and adware" "I use IE because it takes the least effot, don't have to install another program". Lazy sods..
