Are we in the last days..?
I guess at some point in history, all of humanity wondered the same thing...If one relies on the bible and other such books and documents, they can very well make it seem like there's not going to be much home for our kids, kids and so forth...
I can't lie, I have mixed emotions about that...I remember the anxious feeling I got about the planetary alignment a couple years ago...And then I realized I'd almost missed the damn thing...Half expecting to wake up in the middle of a giant ass crater with no life around...
Then again, I get excited about what the cities will look like in the year 2030, and wondering if I'll be around to see them...I guess this is what this is really all about, mortality...Pretty soon, we will become the parents and the grandparents, while I parents and grandparents are long gone...It is probably some deep thing inside me that doesn't want to be forgotten, you know..? A legacy or something...
How do you guys feel about that..? Living in the last days and all that..?

I think every generation has struggled with that same sort of wondering. I mean, back in the 70's when Hal Lindsey came out with "The Late, Great Planet Earth" everyone thought that the world was going to blow up right then and there. The early Christians in Rome all believed that the 2nd coming would be in their lifetimes. I personally don't think it will come any time soon, but that's just my opinion for what it's worth.

Decadence has been always attached to human civilization, the technological power of our mistakes put in risk the civilization more than ever, but still I think that beside the mess we are doing nowadays, we are reaching to a tag in human history and that is the chance of exiting the planet once done that i guess humans won't dissapear. So please dudes stay away from red buttons for the next hundred of years and I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

 We fucked up...and with lame attempts at "fixing" the many wrongs, I say we exit.
Momma Natura, do yo thing and flush our ignorant, self-centered asses off of your back, if you don't, I'm sure we will, maybe in record time.

many people ask if we will develop the technology to survive the end of this world, to which i reply that technology is already known to each and every one of us,.. it is called "death"

I'm not big into religion or all that stuff, but the one thing I find scary is the prediction accuracy of the Mayans and how they predicted the world to end a year or two after 2010 (can't be assed to look for the actually date and year).

I time traveled to 2013 and we were still here, so we have nothing to worry about.
