The Comparison of life

A school of music that studies the rhythm of nature, a school of fashion that studies the elegance of the Universe, a school of design that studies the architecture of the ancients, a school of philosophy that studies the time-tested Truth.

Kind of being in the world but not of the world?

That's very interesting. I've never heard of someone actually getting rid of duality in their life. I imagine it was very hard to do.
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard

That is true. I think raum has a point here that one can get rid of duality in one self but we need soceity and thus for one to rid them selves of duality completly society would have to do the same and not every one has the ability to do such a thing. Thus duality exists and there is no way around it unless we rid the world of it.

One needs the soceity to exist like the soceity needs the one. Soceity without individuals cannot really be and one has to be part of soceity.

exactly,

Society is based upon the illusion of self and other (see Emanuel Kant). And it is a necessary reflection, in that context, for critical self-observation. We can overcome it, but if do so, we stand the chance to never discover why we chose to ever enter into the illusion of self and other. This is why the Monastic Cenobyte (monks in monastaries) only serves himself.

This dilemna is the work of the Magi who are called "The Speakers of the Name." The only answer is Agape. The Greek word for "True, Perfect, Love." This word in Hebrew is AHB "Ahav. Those who speak the name hidden in this word that tore asunder the heavens and poured out the Knowledge of the Lord God upon The World of Creation need never speak again, but for their fellow man.
