i love how they try to tell you EXACTLY what is untrue... and how they could ahve had this view centuries ago, and my family would not have been hunted down and killed for questioning the absurdity...

UM, the BIBLE WAS NOT WRITTEN - MUCH LESS PROVEN.

IT WAS TRANSLATED COMPILED - EDITED - REVISED - RE-EDITED - RE-TRANSLATED - RE-EDITED - **EXPANDED**(to include the WRITINGS) - REVISED - TRANSLATED - REVISED - EXPANDED (TO INCLUDE THE NEW TESTAMENT)- CONDENSED - MANDATED - UPDATED - TRANSLATED - REVISED and RE-TRANSLATED.

(just to get from the proto-hebraic texts to the Vulgate Latin, approved and mandated by the Holy Roman Empire, which is the great great grandfather of the King James Version.)

I'll give a nickel for every verse of the original texts you can speak in the proto-Hebraic original. (pre Davidian mandate)

that's the first verse of Berashith (Genesis 1:1), by the way, and it means:

"Before the First Celestial Movements; Created by the Elohim, is the Shamayim and The Ground."

Elohim is broken down thus -

El
(Canaanite name for God - means Might and Strength, root of Ayil - the Canaaninte word for "Ram"
- which is also the word Ayil, "Power or Strength" in Hebrew, as well as "ram, Deer, or Buck..."
which is also the root of Elo, the hebrew word for "GODDESSES"

Eloah are the female El. the "im" indicates it is plural.

Thus literally:

"Before the First Celestial Movements, Created by The Goddesses , is the Sky and The Ground."

The meaning of Elohim is further complicated by the fact that it is used to describe the spirit of the dead prophet Samuel, raised by Saul in 1 Samuel 28:13. The witch of Endor tells Saul that she sees elohim coming up out of the earth (translated as "gods" in English in this example, because the Witch; this seems to indicate that the term was indeed used simply to mean something like 'paranormal beings' in some parts of ancient Israel.

If I remember correctly there were 9 versions of the bible before it was actually compiled as such. There must be thousands of written materials in the Vatican that were not used in the version we know.
