the hoopla is two kids who were muslims with anti-american sentiments (and possible al qaeda links) were pursued by police, and when they shot at the police, the police shot back. The kids took cover in a electric station, and were electrocuted while they were seeking cover.

Therefore, the descendents of many muslims are rioting to show that not all Muslims are violent.

and France is proving that maybe we do need to be a little more understanding of the facists as their cities burn and their people die...

BETTER YET! The curfew goes into effect at Midnight. Until then, they are still unregulated.

I can't believe they attacked and razed 300 cities, and he grounds them AT MIDNIGHT. I got more punishment for skipping a day of school. DAMN.

As the president of France, I would be tossing concusssion grenades an hour before nightfall. Then, the dogs run the streets an hour later, and we get the fire-hose trucks out for a tour de france by 8 p.m.

Next day, I issue rubber ammunition and do fly-bys. 300 cities,.. damn. That's a fuckin riot.

then again, its their country... let em burn it down. we'll buy what's left on ebay.

May I remind you people of the riots in the US (back at the 80's I think?). It's not much different. Poverty and racial tensions create this. This time it just happened in France and unfortunatelly while we are who we are it will not be the last time it happens nor will it be limited to any country in particular.

The good Norman Schwartzkopf failed to remember that the US independence was achieved in a great part due to France's help against the Brits. I seriously doubt if he had been at that war he would have made such an arrogant remark.
