no, but i can.

making a chart off of comparitive numbers is simple.

what he did was drop oil prices (*-1) in one column, and pres approve rates in the other. select both and insert run chart.

you can verify the numbers, i did.

Hey Charles, on the Playboy cyber club forums, I noticed that they are talking about this oil stuff too (I usually stay out of their discussions as they seem quite misinformed). I posted what you said about Castro drilling 45 miles off the Coast of Florida etc., and this is what some so-called bigshot said back.

"The North American (and Central American) oil reserves are a tiny percentage of the world's proven reserves.

The ranking of the leaders is as follows:

Greatest Oil Reserves by Country, 2005
Rank Country Proved reserves
(billion barrels)
1. Saudi Arabia 261.9
2. Canada 178.81
3. Iran 125.8
4. Iraq 115.0
5. Kuwait 101.5
6. United Arab Emirates 97.8
7. Venezuela 77.2
8. Russia 60.0
9. Libya 39.0
10. Nigeria 35.3

At the end of 2000, North America had conventonal crude oil reserves of about 50 billion barrels of oil, or about 5% of the world's oil reserves.

The United States WILL NEVER be able to seriously affect the price of oil by increasing or decreasing its exploitation of North American oil reserves. No matter what Cheney or the American Petroleum Companies or neo-Con smash mouth radio talk jockeys tell you, this is the truth. America's dependence upon foreign oil reserves is a fact of life for the balance of the technological age, as long as natural crude oil is the energy source of choice. Small pockets will continue to be found over the next five decades, but these will have NO EFFECT on America's dependence upon foreign oil reserves.

End of argument. "

I wanna layeth some smackdown on that roody poo candy arse  :johnny: , so may I ask for your (informed & detailed) reaction to his statement?

Cheers mate,
Pete.
