Iam using Dazzle capture card with Moviestar software to convert VHS to DVD.

Ok, my dad is getting the tape tonight, so I need to know the easiest way to do this, and how to do it. lol

easiest is probably with a dvd/vhs combo recorder/player, though the quality won't be top notch and you don't have many editing options. the top combos - http://hometheater.about.com/od/dvdhard ... orders.htm
the best way is to use a pc. get a capture card like the one i've used - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000A ... e&n=172282 - then you're flying. that assumes you have a dvd burner in your PC, of course! the external card connects to the pc with a usb cable (either 1.0 or 2.0) and then to the vcr with either s-video or component. once set up all you have to do is turn the pc on, load the program, open the window and set the quality of record you want (depends on how much you want to fit on one disc), then hit play on the vcr and record on your capture program. easy peesy.

My dad bought this today: GoDVD
Unfortunately we can't figure out how to use it. They only gave us one video cord, and there's no way to hook it up to my computer. Does anyone know how this works?

Never mind... I just did a google search and it turns out you gotta hook it up to a DVD recorder, which I don't have. lol
