This is just dodge- a dodge so they don't get ridiculed again for releasing insecure software. Vista is probably still in beta mode (heck probably epsilon mode lol) and they are inviting the hackers to hack it, so they can see how it got hacked and then revise it, before releasing it.
Actually it's kinda a good idea, but it seems a dodge as Microsoft are being so smarmy about it.

Hmm. Bug filled XP that I already have... or expensive bug filled Vista upgrade? I think I'll stick with my bug filled XP. lol
