seriously, do your own homework, Habib, or go hire someone to write your essay.
you go ten hours, and you can't rip one out. if you just needed a template, go get ANY ESSAY, and use that to wirte your first. you wanna drop some more writing assignments, stick them in the word.
you wanna start a conversation about L. Hughes, or his poem, that you might get some good ideas for your paper on, fine.
you wanna get someone to do your homework, this is the wrong place.
i gotta get back to work.

Since nobody wants to help you...
You mean, since nobody wants to do your work for you...You have more than enough help...In fact, you have 0 people willing to write it for you, and since that's a number, I figure you'll be pleased...

I managed to write something up, here is it. Suggestions for improvement PLEASE.
How does Langston Hughes†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢ establish the speakers identity in the poem: †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œThe
Negro Speaks of Rivers†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬??
In the poem †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¹¦¢‚¬Å“The Negro Speaks of Rivers†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢, Langston Hughes establishes the speakers identity by the repetition of the word †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œI
†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬? nearly throughout the poem as a metaphor for †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œthe
†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬? Negro race.
†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œI bathed in the Euphrates when the dawns were young
I built my hut near the Congo and it lulled me to sleep
I looked upon the Nile and raised the pyramids above it.†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬? The significance of the repeated †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œI
†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬? is to emphasize on the Negro race, rather than just his life experience. The speakers identity is also established by the use of allusions.
Langston Hughes†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢ repetition of the word †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œI
†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾‚¢
throughout the poem speaks on behalf of the African Americans (Negro†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢s) and doesn†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢t just represent one man. The †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œI
†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾‚¢
mentioned in the poem is not that of †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œa
†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬? Negro but †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œthe
†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬? Negro, suggesting the whole of the people and their history.
The fact that he says he †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œloo
ked upon the Nile and raised the pyramids above it†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬? shows that he is referring to the whole Negro race, as that was the act during the era of slavery. However, it is clearly shown that Hughes†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢ wrote this poem after slavery was abolished. This is due to the fact that his tone in writing seems like he is just reminiscing when slavery was going on. The action words he uses are also in past tense, such as †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œloo
ked†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬?, †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œbui
lt†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬?, †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œbat
hed†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬?, and †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œrai
sed†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬?.
There are two significant lines in the poem that I believe weren†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢t articulated. †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œBat
hing in the Euphrates†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬? and †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œBui
lding huts near Congo†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢s†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬? are the normal activities of the Africans during the era of the slavery performed in their environment. There is also a development in time as Euphrates is the oldest river and the Negros advanced from bathing in it to building shelters near Congo†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢s. This symbolizes the fact that the Negro†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢s were now free and could build or bath in their own rivers.
Allusions play a very important role in establishing the speakers identity in this poem. Hughes†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢ mentions some rivers such as †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œNil
e†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬?, †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œCon
go†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬? and †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œEup
hrates†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬?. River Nile and Congo being situated in Africa shows how he speaks for the Negro race because they are where slavery took part in most of the time during the era.
However, Hughes†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢ doesn†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢t only metaphorically imply the negative and depressing aspects of slavery in this poem but he also symbolizes peace. The fact that he †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œbui
lt [his] hut near the Congo and it lulled [him] to sleep†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬? is the equivalent of him having said, †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œI made my life undisturbed in the place where I lived.†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬? The atmosphere of feeling that Hughes†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢ shows when he mentions the fact that his hut in Congo lulled him to sleep is peaceful. It shows that he now has a rest of mind.
In conclusion, I think Hughes†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢ establishes the speakers identity in this poem by his successful use of repetition for the word †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œI
†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾‚¢
and his intellectual use of allusions. His use of symbolism †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬Å¡‚¦†™

I don't know about anybody else, but this angle:
I think Hughes†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾
‚¢ establishes the speakers identity in this poem by his successful use of repetition for the word †™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œI
†™‚¢‚¢¢¢¬…¡‚¬‚¢¢¢¬…¾‚¢
and his intellectual use of allusions.
Is about as far away from the idea of the essay as can be...Bro, I suggest that you look over the notes we've left you in the thread, and try to get something going that way...
