shellvpower, like the others said, I wouldn't suggest getting paranoid over things.

Keep it straight and simple with MSN

a) ALways have an antivirus with the latest definitions
/cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> NEVER EVER accept files from people you don't know
b1) If you accept a file from someone you know butt(SHAKIRA!) the file actually looks weird (like an .exe or .com file) and it doesn't look like your friend sent it on purpose, DON'T run it, just DELETE IT
c) Preferably disable "file sharing". It's its first version and it PROBABLY has bugs (AND security holes)

In MSN 7.X there had been reports that while you'd receive a file, someone (with the right tools) could open a door in your system. If you DIDN'T get it tho, nothing would ever happen to you /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

It really isn't that hard or complicate to follow the above and it will just ensure that you'll get NO harm from MSN /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
