Billy Volek could reportedly be a Charger by next week.
San Diego is offering a sixth-round pick in exchange for Volek. The Chiefs currently appear only to be a minor player in the Volek sweepstakes, even though they clearly have the bigger need.

Brian Westbrook missed practice Friday.
Coach Andy Reid will update his status at his daily press conference, but a downgrade on the injury report would not surprise. Correll Buckhalter and Ryan Moats would split carries if Westbrook is out.

Clinton Portis (shoulder) says he's a "game-time decision" for Week 2
Though he was downgraded to doubtful and ESPN is reporting he will not play, there's still a chance he'll suit up Sunday versus Dallas. If he does, the situation would likely be similar to last week's, with Ladell Betts starting and Portis in relief. It makes all Redskins running backs risky fantasy plays for the second straight week.

Ladell Betts looks likely to start for the Redskins in Week 2 against Dallas
Clinton Portis was downgraded to doubtful Friday. Since Betts will likely lose carries to T.J. Duckett and faces a tough matchup in Dallas, he's nothing more than an average flex play.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh (heel) missed practice again Friday
I expect him to be downgraded to questionable, but that hasn't happened yet. Fantasy owners shouldn't count on him Sunday. Even though Chris Henry was quiet in Week 1, he's a passable WR3 fill-in.

It's looking possible that Shaun Suisham will stay active to handle kickoffs. Check back on Saturday for more information.

Koren Robinson (knee) is expected to play Sunday
Robinson won't start but he might see some snaps out wide and on the kick returns unit as he makes his Green Bay debut in Week 2.

Brandon Stokley (questionable, ankle) returned to practice Friday
He'll likely be a game-time decision. Stokley isn't worth using in fantasy leagues this week. TE Dallas Clark is a better option.

Travis Henry (questionable, toe) again missed practice Friday
Henry probably won't play in Week 2 after missing practice all week. LenDale White will likely be active to vulture short-yardage carries.

Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren now appears to be undecided as to whether Deion Branch will make his debut with his new team on Sunday
Both Adam Schefter and Matt Hasselbeck said earlier in the week they expected Branch to play, but in the end it will be Holmgren's call. Branch isn't worth using in fantasy leagues this week, but if he doesn't play, Nate Burleson and Darrell Jackson are safer starts.
