ham? who's ham? I don't get it.

QUOTEEven if you want to claim territory in space, it's a crime against humanity to prevent other countries from doing so.

That is TOTAL bullshit. So it is the right of a country to expand into space? Hell, then why even have borders? Oh yeah! I remember why... Sovereignty.

And despite the talking heads on the liberal scene, Sovereignty is not the right to do what you want in your backward country, like "beheading is just what they do,.."

If you still consider beheading a government policy, you have no business going into space. If you won't let women drive, no spaceship for you! If you think you have a *right* to go into space, you probably are pissed you have no ABILITY to get there. If your country doesn't even track unemployment, you have more important work to do before you start planning space travel.

The right to borders on this planet DOES NOT extend into space.

It is the right of safety and security of your people's identity in the global theater... That is an individual right, to be funded, contested, and even confronted each, according to their means. But big brother UN is killing the notion of governmental Natural Selection, and we have idiocy masquerading as policy all the world over. and if you think America has to *wait* or *play fair* or even *share* space, you have no idea what kind of representation is required to venture off this planet.

This address was made while people were crying its not fair America is going into space and not waiting for us, or taking us with them. Screw that.

I don't see that anywhere in your quote. Did you miss adding that part. What I saw was a "warning that it will oppose any nations that try to get in its way." That does not say that we won't let other into space, just that we won't let others stop us from going.

I havnt read any thing about this but i would guess bush is saying basicaly if we want to build weapons in space we will and if we see you biulding some we will concider that a threat and blow them up. We see it as keeping us safe they see it as an arms race. Its one more place we can creat the reasons for war down here. Im sure this will go the way all other arms races have gone.
