See, Serius has a style...When you have a style, its easier to come off the top...Jin freestyles true enough, but it became erratic, agitated like...Serius has a style, and he stuck to it...
It's like a heavyweight fight man, many times style over substance will win...No matter what the other person does, or wants to do, you stick to you game plan...
It is easier to deliver for Serius because of this, his shit comes through a little smoother, comes off cleaner...Jin was saying so much shit, it just got wack as hell at the end...
I had never heard either one of them rap before I saw this shit, Serius handed that dude his ass...

serius was much more rehearsed, but he spits very au naturale, and that piece war far from his best:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIy35qj8wSE
but the truth is you have to rehearse to freestyle: NOONE entirely freestyles, that is an image... everyone builds "macros" that they develop through exercise, and build variations. then you work on speed and inflection to make it sound natural.
it's like a martial art. you have a defined set of movements, and through rehearsal and practice you develop the form, then you apply the force. and eventually, you develop the ability to interchange the parts. the thing that Serius had in this was "personal insult" to Jin, and it was "typical" but it stood out in his "canned" delivery. More importantly, he had the crowd on lock. Jin was not looking to the crowd, and some of his flow was a little too eratic (obviously part of his signature style) for this crowd. so some of his multis lost effect.
Jin has some sick freestyle out there, and I have his cd, and can put some of it in rotation more often than some "popular" rap, but he has far better stuff out there:
for a real Jin victory, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iu2eSzOZQrA
and with that, maybe you can see why Eminem said that Jin leaving was a real loss.
To be honest, with a Jin and Serius Jones bout, I'd expect more form both of them...

No he didn't man...GAHHH lol....The crowd was ALL BLACK...Serius had better lines, but not by much, and I KNOW YOU KNOW HOW MUCH HARDER IT IS TO FUCKING FREESTYLE THAN TO SPIT SOME PREMEDITATED SHIT...Man honestly, I'm a damn good writer, I have to be, and I sound like a FUCKING RETARD trying to freestyle...I can barely throw rhymes together, fuck making decent punches...

I think the argument is, that to a degree, EVERYTHING is premeditated...I mean, if you call yourself a rapper, everything becomes a rhyme, right..? You constantly think of metaphors and shit like that, eh..? I'll agree, alot of it is premeditated, but to say that its 100% rehearsed is a stretched...
And of course the crowd was all black, how many Asian rappers do you know..? lol...

It's just like with any improvisation. You go in with some form of template, familiar shapes, ideas you can draw on, to inspire whatever you improvise.
It's just like with jazz music. Take Miles Davis for example- you go hear him and his band playing Bitches' Brew live, it seems like coming left right and centre, completely erratic, but they have SOME preconceived ideas set up that they can draw on, and work from.
Giving a speech right off the top of your head- it seems like it's out of nowhere, but you're just drawing & being inspired by what's in your subconscious.
It's called BEING PREPARED.

If you mean premeditated like knowing words that rhyme, then sure, that comes naturally...But still, if you ask me to freestyle right now, you will get something decent at best...Serius was rehearsed if Jin was premeditated...Still a big ass difference...
