QUOTE(Mandizzle @ Feb 12 2007, 11:45 PM) Yes of course we have our own currency...
Pack of DuMaurier Extra Light Large Regulars = 9.90 CAD = 8.42341 USD
Dude, are you shitting me? I remember it wasn't long ago when cigarettes were $8.25. I can't believe they've jumped up another dollar. I don't know how you guys can afford to smoke. lol
A buddy of mine who's in Montreal right now bought us Cuban cigars that last time he came down. Of course we keep forgetting to smoke the fucking things whenever we get together. lol

Damn, I think this is the first time I've actually missed smoking...I haven't smoked anything going on 3 years...
I started off smoking Black and Mild's, cause the first time I smelled them, I thought they smelled great...
But, I was out of Blacks one day, and happened upon another Black, but this time a sweet little sigg made by Djarum...Man I loved those things...A sigg after a meal would be like getting some ATM action from Beyonce...
But, after I smoked the cloves a few times, everything else became nasty, or too harsh for me...I couldn't even smoke a Newport...Cloves were about 3.49 a pack, and anyone wishing to get me to do something, simply showed up with a deck of them, and I was good...Kinda felt like a junky, but they were so hard to find, that if you ran out, you may or may not get any more lol...
Naturally however, all good things come to an end, that fateful day in 2004 when I made the transformation to the asthmatic, I haven't smoked since...

you'll have a much stronger scent of smoke.... cigar smoke is very distinct and also very very strong....
i rarely smoke cigars, but when i do they're always cuban... and i'm quite sure you guys dont get those down there.... so my recommendations are useless...

I smoke Marlboro Light 100s - about a pack a day - for now. I plan to quit (again) soon as I can get my wife to quit with me. It was too hard not to smoke when she was puffing away, though I made it for 11 months without a single puff.
I used to smoke cigars and a pipe years ago. I used to take some cherry pipe tobacco and soak in in some Amoretto for about a week, let it cure out for another week, then puff away in bliss. That was the shits!

is it illegal to buy cubans off the internet in america? like can you get busted for that shit or something? or if you ask someone from lets say like toronto or something to buy some for you and send it to you and you pay them or something, whats the likelihood of getting caught?

i'm pretty sure you wont be able to buy cuban cigars online and have them delivered to the US.
However, if you have somebody mail them to you, from say Toronto, there's a possibility of it making it through customs. All depends on if they open up the package or not..

anyway im gonna try to buy some black and milds for a while now. i never had one before but i want to take my smoking experience in baby steps first.
how good are cubans compared to other cigars? like do you get cooked or is it... hmm i dont know how to describe it or even ask it. but i am really excited about going into work now because theres a tobacco shop at the mall that i work at. im like all out of smokes and i have to go a full day tomorrow without anything.

haha dude if you're all out why dont you just buy some more?
I've only smoked cigars maybe 25-30 times in my life and 80% of those times they were cuban cigars. I just preferred the taste of the cubans a lot better. They were also better rolled and smoked a lot nicer. In all fairness I must point out the other 20% of cigars i smoked were most likely cheapy celebration cigars.
every time i read this thread i get the sudden urge to step out and have a smoke... LOL
