He is saying that without Shaq, Kobe would have been one the best individual one on one player in the game. But, since he had Shaq, Kobe is now one of the greatest ever because of the titles. Without Shaq, he would have been circa Allen Iverson, Kevin Garnett, Tracy McGrady.
