since it's an external it's looking at the external port .. when you enabled the usb audio device it allowed it to go through. Glad you got it working halfway decent.

As am I...That damn SB is a waste of cash, but where you were in the control panel is what I wanted you to be looking at, but I could remember exactly how to tell you to get there cause I'm running Vista... /:D" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt=":D" />
