The question remains... at some point there had to be a beginning. Do you believe in an Originator, God, Supreme Being? Or do you believe that matter and energy were all there was? Either way, something had to start the process.
And to further confuse and muddle the issue, who's to say that God/Supreme Power didn't orchestrate and design evolution? We have "Scientific Creationism", why not "Theistic Evolution"?
