Immortality

A school of music that studies the rhythm of nature, a school of fashion that studies the elegance of the Universe, a school of design that studies the architecture of the ancients, a school of philosophy that studies the time-tested Truth.

I look at it like eating...I wish I could finish off a beautiful meal everyday...The beauty of life, and death...If you appreciate the life someone has lead, you can learn to celebrate their death..? Immortality to me would mean to see the essence of all things, that Zen area we try to reach for in our own lifespans...

Anybody else feel differently..?

Everybody is immortal till proven the contrary.
It's ok wishing to be immortal, in fact usually we all act as if we're not gonna die (at least for some time ç, i mean at those great moments of joy) and preserve those 'perfect' moments as bits of immortality. I dont wanna die but i will and that's ok for me.
As i said i was immortal in my previous life, but died of boredom.

Fapper and I are in almost total agreement about this.

The one thing I contend is that he died because I got bored...

I don't, I feel quite the same.

My grandfather lives on in my heart, by me and my family appreciating the life he led and celebrating him in death.

I always feel happy when thinking about him, both memories of him, and about him in death now.

I only feel upset when I think of his funeral.
