I actually have that same PNY Drive 5829, and its pretty good...The average transfer speeds are around 3-5 MB p/s...To compare, my SATA I Drives in a RAID configuration copy data at about 24-26 MBp/S...So, 20MB in a flash drive is awesome...If I could get one of those Ducati drives for cheap, I'd definitely get it, but I think for now its just good from afar...

I don't have a real justification for getting one, other than the fact that I love Ducati machines...

Here is a utility that tests out your flash drive. The free part is really all you need. Does the following among others.
Low-level benchmark - Measure the read and write performance.
File benchmark - Measure how long it will take to read or write files of various lengths to the device.

I managed to grab a patch for that program :twisted: and tested my PNY drive...I came up with this:

Not bad, and certainly not $100...I think I'll keep it....
