QUOTE(x3n)Movie Title:
City Of God (Cidade de Deus)
...
Xtra final review:
Ghetto not-so-fabulous. Be aware, the shit is violent, for real.

I saw this one a couple of weeks ago. Very heavy stuff...

Movie Title:
Maria Full of Grace

Why do we have to watch it:
The flip-side of the drug trade, pretty powerful acting, and the bitchslap of choices on desperate people.

Finest moment:
A few upon arrival.

Xtra final review:
Based on 1,000 true stories (tagline)

saw "Oceans 12" today......pretty good flick

Vincent Cassell from "Irreversible" plays the competing theif...
solid script...fun like the first..

but it has this "look at all the stars in one movie....so its worth seeing" type of feel to it.

and catherine zeta jones is indeed the sexiest "older woman" i have ever seen....besides Monica B.

oh....and Julia Roberts looks fucking terrible..(never liked her anyway...but still)...i think she was prego during filming.....yucky.

Ill recommend two of my favorite movies, Slacker and Slam. Slacker is like this mock documentary philosophical thing with people talking about their way of thinking and how theyre are slackers. Slam is with the poet Saul Williams, he plays a guy that goes to jail comes out and trys to change his life. Theres a lot of slam poetry in it.

Movie Title:
The Cat In The Hat

Why do we have to watch it:
Because my son makes me watch it AT LEAST 6 times a day (no, I'm serious) and it's either this or Kill Bill, so....

Finest moment:
This move is actually VERY funny, pretty much all the way through...Mike Meyers is a great talent...One of my favorite parts was the "Cupcakenator" Scene...

Xtra final review:
Great family movie, that won't make you puke if you're an adult...Will keep my kid, and my nephew occupied for HOURS on end, allowing me to come to the forum and bullshit with you guys...And the Cat in the Hat Dance is the SHIT..! I have all the steps down pact, it's in the extras section of the DVD...
