I know! They've lost 6 of 8 now which is insane. It's all because they lost James Posey. When you don't have someone like that coming off the bench anymore, you have no hope. It's all about depth...

Now the Lakers has lost Andrew Bynum, how much do you guys think it will affect their chances to the playoffs and finals?

If Kobe can drop 60 every game, it won't matter...The Laker's have some other big men, they'll make due...They have enough depth to make it to the Playoffs, and go far, which means if the injury isn't as bad as thought, he can be back by then and play his way into some kind of shape...

AYHJA I like your analysis, I know Kobe can definitely step up his game and knows what to do...However, their upcoming game against the Celtics on Thursday will be a very good test to see where they stand...They beat them on Christmas they @ the Staples Center, I'd love it if they can pull it off again @ the Banknorth Garden...They also play the Cavaliers soon...

What's your prediction on who'll win for Lakers vs. Celtics on Thursday?

Plus, did you get to see today's game against the Celtics and Philadelphia? OK Ray Allen is a G...I honestly thought they'll lose that game, you need to check out the clutch 3-pointer he made, amazing stuff!

Talk to me y'all!!!

The C's are rolling, but I think Kobe has a chip on his shoulder...

If you watched the game (btw man, its good to see you again..!) you'll see how effortless Kobe scored that 60...Any fan of LeBron can not deny how smooth and easy the game comes to Kobe...LeBron plays hard, and does well, but he's not capable of scoring that way every game...Kobe can, however...They made it to the Finals without Bynum this year, it won't be long before everyone has their fair share of knocks, dings, and fatigue kick in to even out the field...

Lots of teams lost some big parts of their offense recently, especially the Magic...The biggest wildcard of the upcoming matchup between the C's and the Lakers to me is Rondo...He is the only player on the court I don't think the Laker's have an answer for...He's trickle down offense...If they can't stop ball, KG, Perkins, Big Baby...They will shine...If they stop ball, Odom can handle KG, Gasol can handle whomever, Kobe can handle Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen will probably get his points no matter what, or go for broke...I'm a Lakers fan, but I must admit, I will be more than impressed if they can beat the C's in Boston...

Well, PLEASE be impressed then! I am too impressed, I am totally in awe, I hope you watched the game tonight! Shoot, that was crazy...I can't believe it happened, I actually had no hope for the Lakers...I mean, I knew they will give them a tough time, but I thought that Boston was gonna win them, so I was just praying for the lead to be within 5 points or so but actually Lakers won them, wow!

Thanks to Kobe Bryant's superb performance in the 4th quarter -- those three 3-pointers that he made helped them and bailed them out alot man, I mean, you can't just fuck with those Celtics guys LoL with Eddie House and Ray Allen super dangerous as hell behind the arc.

I must also say that the Celtics' were way too immature in this game and Rajon Rondo needs to respect his elders, did you see what he did to Kobe? And Kevin Garnett got fouled out too, all because of irresponsible behavior.

Anyway, I'm SO happy for the Lakers', at first Kobe wasn't performing well and he was missing shots -- now I understand better why they call him a "fourth quarter man." They just shouldn't go out of control and get too confident, I want them to finish this road trip by winning the Cavaliers on Sunday. AYHJA what's your prediction on that one?

Again, I'm SO happy for the Lakers! Anyone who watched it, this game was SO engaging and NICE and tough!

Btw...sorry I've been away here for SO long haha. Problem is that I graduated out of high school last year, and I started university already. I'm doing Petroleum Geology in university and I wanted to build a solid foundation academic wise in my first semester, hence the reason I couldn't come here alot -- thank God I pulled it off, I got a 3.4 GPA.

So yeah, please give me your predictions on the Lakers vs. Cavaliers game! :)

AYHJA hehe please tell me what you though of tonight's game (if you watched it).

Man, I don't know what I was doing...But I should have fucking been watching the game..!

I was just talking in another thread about sports heartbreaks...I think I may have even subconsciously bitched up and didn't want to watch the game because I couldn't stand the idea of the Lakers losing..!

But, the C's, I'm not too worried about...To me, they're not even the team to beat in the East...Sunday's game...VS LeBron...Undefeated at home..? Now that's a test...That game could be epic in how it plays out...

Hmm...it would actually be kinda interesting...but I thought that it'll be a bit easier playing the Cavaliers than it is playing the Celtics? What's your opinion? Should they find it as hard to win that game (other things remaining equal)?

Personally I think the Cavs will wipe out the Lakers...unfortunately. Don't get me wrong I hate the Lakers but I need the Cavs to go down for my boys to get back the best record in the East. I just think the Cavs are playing good defense this year and they look like they are on a mission to win it all. They have a two year deadline to do so before LeBron moves over to NY.
