It has a smaller screen but I prefer those for mobility. I don't like laptops that are large. If you need bigger you can always get a 22-inch LCD for around $250 and attach it to your video out on the laptop.

Thanks guys. Im going to start looking around now. My current laptop is about to crap out on me. So from tomorrow onwards im going to see who can build me the cheapest laptop with the best spec's. Going to finish my play now though. Going to post it on tomorrow.

I likey,Deep. except the Vista part. hardware wise its good for that price. btw have u considered going the netbook route? I'm like in a serious relationship with my Asus eee & we've only been together just over a month.

If you're not a hardcore user, I suggest you really take a look at the netbook Deep, it may be just the thing for you...And Jig has one, so you should be able to pick his dome for ideas about what you'll be doing and if you'll need more than it offers...
