A lot of people shat on it. A lot of people seemed to get lost during the Architect's scene (which I loved btw). The only thing I would change/remove is the Morpheus' screaming (Fishburne don't need to yell to get any point across) & the rave in the cave that followed it. Both were totally unecessary.

If you look at any top ten list they pretty take a dump on the trilogy or totally dismiss it now. From either it was to preachy or Reeves is a terrible actor who should never act ever again.

I expect that's because they want some chatter on their blogs or some shit...There is no doubt in my mind that Matrix is one of the most influential movies of all times...I put it right up there under the Godfather series...Say what you want about the story and the acting and all that, but that film changed cinema, no doubt about it...The number of movies that have taken cues from the Matrix is pretty damn long...
