In the movie, Luke Skywalker made an X-Wing fighter float in mid-air and he was a noob to the force. Starkiller was trained directly by VADER for his entire life.-84 wrote:In a video game you can kill/ko a over hundreds of enemies during the course of the game to get to the end goal.
In a movie that would not fly.
The disconnect with the game will be is why is "Starkiller" afraid of Darth Vader since he knows what he has done to him.
Check out the demo on ps3 or 360. The man is crushing tie fighters like they were beer cans.
Stuff like that doesn't translate to a live action movie. Even with in game character model looking like the voice actor.
The only thing you can hope for is that Starkiller makes an appearance in the live action tv series that rumored to come out soon.
Vader's intentions were to use Starkiller to kill the Emperor. The Emperor knew how powerful SK was and hoped he would kill Vader and become his new apprentice.
Anyway, is it a bit much to bring down an entire star destroyer? Perhaps. People couldn't accept that in a movie for sure. It makes for a good conversation with Star Wars fans though.
When you look at the Jedi and Sith fights in the newer movies compared to the original trilogy though, there are vast differences.
Why not? It's science fiction. It is what Lucas Arts makes it to be.darklighter1 wrote:Yeah it looks great but when I saw himrip that star destroyer outa the sky in the first one all I could think of was "bullshit". The Force users in all video games are too powerful. It makes for an exciting game but would be ridiculous in a movie. Besides there is no way he would be more powerful than Vader and Yoda.
