Are you intentionally trolling the thread? If you can't even form an opinion on a topic because you're admittedly ignorant on the subject....wtf are you posting in the thread?

As for Habib....when you put it all that way.....James sure does seem like the better pick lol.

But, just to be clear: LBJ is NOT a better scorer than Durant.

He's more athletic, plays better D, is stronger and more physical (still not sold on his clutch performances...but that's something we've agreed to disagree on) so he may be a better pick, but its disrespectful to the game of basketball if you think he's a better scorer, regardless of what nba.com/statistics tells you lol.

To prove my point: What's Lebron's go-to move? (barrel down the lane with your head down, hoping to get to the rim or get a foul called before ever actually having a plan on what to do doesn't really count as a go-to move)

LoL Drew,

I think sometimes we get too caught up in the hottest player because it looks attractive. I do think James is a better scorer than Durant, for now at least. James actually could have won the scoring title last season, but the Cavs coaches intentionally let him sit out the last 10 games of the season or so because the Cavs had already locked up home court advantage throughout the playoffs (which they didn't get to use haha because they got punked by the Celtics). It should be noted that he was the leading scorer the whole season -- ahead of Durant although just by a microcosm amount -- until he started intentionally sitting out games.

Durant is a more "versatile" scorer than James and I will admit that, but I am not sure about him being a "better" scorer. But it should be noted that Durant has a very big problem playing with physical defenders that are strong. It affects him significantly when strong defenders are guarding him -- take a look at the Thunder's first found series with the Lakers -- but that is not the case with LeBron. There is not much of a significant dip in LeBron's scoring output when strong people guard him. And come on, I mean, the statistics of scoring is what you actually got, there is no lie in that. What you averaged is what you averaged. The thing is, Durant is very long for the position he plays -- at almost 6'11" he plays the SG and SF position -- so he is tough because it is not the prototypical height for those positions. He ideally should be a PF for that height.

I agree with you though that LeBron does not have a go to move. But neither does Durant man. The thing is that, LeBron is not just a ridiculous talent, but he is a force of nature. LeBron is an American football player in basketball shorts.

And like I said before, their head to head games so far is a very good indication of how you can compare both of them. I will look for some of them online when I have some time and post it in the AF sports section. LeBron put the clamps on Durant in those games and he was just not effective. The two games they played last season were like that, and so as the preseason game that Miami played with OKC.

Drew, do some research on what an "internet troll" is. It's the most abused and misused word on internet forums. If you don't agree with someone, just call them a "troll" right?

I'm not looking for any negative response or argument. Just stating my piece. I did know that it was a crime. :|

You may have actually "trolled" a little bit jdog. You came and talked about Scottie Pippen instead of saying something related to Kevin Durant or LeBron James. You did not even vote for any of them.

Okay, that's going OFF TOPIC and not TROLLING. There is a difference. :sarcasm:

Trolling would be me coming in here and that both guys are fags and that Drew takes it up the ass. See? That's purposely trying to instigate an argument, ie "trolling". That's just an example. I don't think either men are fags and I am sure Drew is exit only.

Me saying that I haven't watched NBA since Scottie Pippen retired is a bit off topic, but in no way is it attacking anyone or trying to provoke a fight.

Got it yet?

Edit - How can I vote for either when I have never seen either of them play? I am aware that LeBron played for the Cavaliers but I dislike anything Cleveland. I don't even know what team that Durant plays for.

Yes, got it. Either way, vote for a player and explain why.

Just vote for a player (and preferably say why) so that at least you did something related to the purpose of the thread.
