Barry Sanders? He was pure bliss to watch. He was the only reason to watch the Lions and he made Thanksgiving a great day to watch football. I will still never be satisfied for his reasonings on retiring when he did. He could have shattered the career rushing record that now belongs to Emmitt Smith.
Warren Moon? Not one of the greatest IMO. He was a very solid QB but owns no significant NFL records at all.
Larry Foote is a MLB that even the Steelers didn't care if he left. He is a solid linebacker but doesn't do anything significant either.
To me, greatness is defined by record breaking performances and that ring is the cherry in top, the guarantee to be a 1st ballot Hall of Fame.
Randy Moss has done nothing but hold himself back. He has broken several of Jerry Rice's records but will not come close to breaking them all. He's his own worst enemy. Reminds me a lot of Terrell Owens. So much wasted talent.
