More huge, 10 line signatures below one word replies, DeEje..? Classic...Please make a thread in the T & W Section promoting everything you want to promote, and I will put it on the forum front page for all to see...But the big sig must go...

Even though the bible is the source of information most easily identified with a higher power, do we still trust that it is reliable enough to provide us with an accurate description..? Maybe this is a question for another thread perhaps, I don't want to get of topic if so...

But, every time I read a scripture, I'm wondering it it has been mistranslated, rewritten, or misunderstood...It is not as if I require the bible to be precise or exact, as I get my substance for faith largely from other things...

But it seems as if when under question, the bible will present more dilemmas then it will solve...

to this i say, Jesus never had a Bible and he did fine.

Doxa is a Greek ideal, alien to Ancient Israel. OrthoDoxa (By the Book) is established in much later times, and gets filtered into The Kingdom of David.

Me, personally, I like languages and I like History, I believe some good people had some divine inspiration to create some beautiful, and it has been perverted so much by those who hearts hungry for power.

I believe the "Book of God" is a "Book" in the Same Way the "Fruit of the Tree" is a "Fruit." These do not get limited to this world... and do not take the form of things in this world.

A Sepher is a "Book" Sepher Ha Torah (Book of Law) is the full name of the Torah.

I will however, testify that a thorough study of the languages of ancient texts in their original context is useful to understand the nature of human development. and their are books Ancient and Modern that benefit the readers.
