Newton's law, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. That glass capacitive touchscreen is extremely fragile. It won't matter how you drop it. That glass will shatter.



I've seen iPhone screens crack into a thousand pieces with one drop. A tablet has a larger surface area to add to the fragility.
