A school of music that studies the rhythm of nature, a school of fashion that studies the elegance of the Universe, a school of design that studies the architecture of the ancients, a school of philosophy that studies the time-tested Truth.

All very true. It's relatively easy to "trust" someone you haven't really met yet. I mean, the long conversations on the net and the phone are great and a good beginning of a foundation of trust, but until you're there face to face, and have spent some quality time with her, it's a little early. And as stated above, don't put your entire heart and soul into this girl, not now, not for a LONG time. It's very easy to fall in love with what you perceive; you've got a "vision" in your head of what this girl is like, but trust me, there will be some differences in how she is on-line/on phone, and what she's like in real life. Hopefully most of those differences will be minor and easily overlooked, but there is a strong possibility (and one you must acknowledge) that there will be a major discrepancy between how she was long distance and how she is in RL.

I guess what we're all trying to say here is... take things easy and take them slow. No need to lay your heart out on the street the first time you meet her only to have her stomp on the sucker.
