saw it last night at a double feature BB and Longest Yard in one of the oldest drive-in's in the U.S. under the full moon that kicked off my first summer in Jersey.- both rocked.

The new batman movie is based on Frank Miller's work Batman: Year One, and any further Batman work done by Chris Nolan (whose first film was Memento) will rock as much as that, as long as he continues through Batman: Year One.

And if he continues through Batman YEAR ONE (***mumble, mumble, prayer***) it would not be a sequel, it would be that he is telling a story that requires more than 2 hours, just keep the batman movies coming...

and keep millers movies in the production. Sin City, and now this...

Miller's vision for Batman was the right one all along, and they hit on that effectively in this flick, Wayne is "a bit"of a sociopath, with a warped sense of justice, but Alfred tells him to go out and be immersed in this millionaire bachelor lifestyle as one of Gotham's VIP's if he wants to keep his identity under less scrutiny.
There was no real relationship for him, he simply can't do it.
Hollywood will probably see to it that there's a flavor of the month in there...but please, she HAS to be able to hold her own amidst a cast that includes Morgan Freeman and fucking Gary Oldman, come on!
...poor Katie, that was like watching her do her first school play. #-o

The coolest shit though, despite Katie "Not so hot" Holmes, was when the Batman had Scarecrow in his clutches, when dude was on the gas...MAN that was fucking cool...
