QUOTE(Mississippi Mental Patien)AP... AP just had a lucky first year.I think he will rush for 600 yards less than he did  his freshman year.Get yo head out of AP ass man...He will do just like Darren Sproles did at KSU his senior year...Don't get me wrong Darren Sproles is great but he didn't do as well as he did his Junior year... :-D
Are you kidding me? AP is gonna have another great year. I bet he'll prolly win the Heisman. He's my early pick at least. He got sick game and so much knowledge for such a young kid. He's gonna tear it up again.

Not to mention that if Maurice Clarett's underclassman entry court victory didn't get overturned, Peterson would have been the #1 back taken this past draft, ahead of both Ronnie Brown and Cedric Benson.

I dont' know about that. Yes, he's a great back, but I don't know if an NFL team will risk a 1st round pick on a freshman running back. I don't think he's ready for the NFL yet. Next year I assume he will be but not yet.

All draft experts said San Francisco would have selected him #1 overall had he been eligible.

Oh ok. I didn't know that. If I was SF I wouldn't of. I would have drafted QB just like they did

At this rate, you don't pass on a great back like A.P...They wouldn't have even had to play him his first season, they would have paid him handsomely, and put his ass in the weight room...His size and speed are real folks, this guys is awesome...I would have taken his ass straight out of high school...

Did you know when Clarett and Mike Williams filed suit Peterson was one of the six high schoolers in America who said he would declare himself eligible straight out of high school. He was the top recruit in the nation coming out of some high school in Texas. Mel Kiper on ESPN said at the time he didn't think any of them would be drafted though, but as far as freshmen and sophmores, I think the top running backs and receivers would make the transition to the NFL, only because those are the two positions that are easiest to learn in the pros.
