Surprise, surprise!

Just saw an episode of PBS's concert series, "Soundstage" and guess who was on it?

Yep, the group Garbage! This was taped in Chicago during their ill-fated world tour. Shirley and the band made one encore and then departed after it was done.

Shirley even prowled through the audience at one point. This was also the stop where drummer Butch Vig was replaced by Matt Walker, due to Vig's mother dying.

At one point, Shirley looked back and asked if the drummer was okay. A fan yelled out, to which Shirley answered "Smartass "

Another point, she asked a stagehand to turn a fan on to keep her cool. She commented that they had to watch the fan to keep her skirt from flying up. When she sang, "Why Do You Love Me", Shirley laid down onstage and exposed her pantied backside.

Watch for this episode.

I wonder if anyone caught the new episode of VH1 Classic Channel's show, "Decades Rock"?

Shirley was on it appearing with The Pretenders, Kings of Leon, Iggy Pop, and Incubus.

Shirley wore an outfit with shorts and Chrisse Hynde called her "Mamacita!"

They sang a duet on a Garbage song and then a Pretenders song

Then she was part of a supergroup when everybody ganged up on "Middle of the Road" finale!

See this if you get a chance to

Just read on a another webgroup that Shirley's solo album will come out sometime next year.

The site was specific about the exact date, but it will definately be out in 2007. She's been lining up some heavyweight singers to give her a hand in creating the album.

Updates when available.....
