This is most disturbing news. Palestinians sadly do not realise it is them who will suffer the most. In the eyes of the western world they will have gone back to the times when no recognised government for them existed, only a terrorist movement led by Arafat. So much for the peace process. Two decades of sacrifices from both sides down the drain.

Well, for one thing, it will make the issue of dealing with Palestinian attacks on Israel easier. we know the people DO IN FACT support the abolition of Israel and consider the suicide bombing there an acceptable means of achieving that end., and thus the whole of Palestine CAN AND SHOULD be held accountable for the actions of Palestine. One of the biggest ideas of electoral philosophy is a citizenry is accountable for the governement it appoints. Hurray for for democracy, now ALL YA ASSES ON LOCK CAUSE YA SHOWED YA TRUE COLORS WHEN YA VOTED FOR HAMAS.

Next time we see Palestine hit one of our allies, we should retaliate. The president should issue the statement that the minute HAMAS control of palestine is made official, they are on ass-whoopin probation, and we will not be ground pounding. Executed non-nuclear conventional air strikes on all known or reasonably suspected military operation centers... as per Geneva convention dictates. My vote is for "bunker-busters." The easiest and most complete way to deal with a explosive upstart of a country is with a explosive solution.

I do not look forward to Palestine's defeat,.. but we can not allow them victory. That will be the beginning of a HUGE following for militant Islamist facism... even in the states.

"Whoever stands at the head of a terror organization and continues to carry out terror attacks against Israel is not immune," Mofaz said. "If the Hamas turns to terror, it will be subject to an unprecedented attack by the state of Israel."

Israel is the one country you can count on not to fuck around. You blow up an IDF outpost... well, they retaliate by knocking down a building!

"Mahmoud al-Zahar, the top Hamas official in Gaza, laid out a series of conditions Sunday that he said could lead to years of co-existence alongside Israel. The conditions included Israel's retreating to its pre-1967 borders and releasing Palestinian prisoners."

These asshats are hardly in a position to be making demands. I was watching the news the other night, and they were saying that Palestine is in debt big time, and they depend desperately on international aid. Lets see how badly they want Israel destroyed once the payments stop.

They'll find a way to blame it all on the West, though. They always do. The West, the Middle East's scapegoat.

Israel seeks world support over Hamas

"The Hamas party has made it clear that they do not support the right of Israel," Bush said after meeting with his Cabinet. "And I have made it clear that so long as that's their policy, that we will not support a Palestinian government made up of Hamas."

They have already come beggin to america for cash, prolly to buy pickle jars, laundry detergent, and a few other choice ingredients...

not a damn dime, if it were my choice... Let them get it from someone else who has money AND supports their current administration. Rumour has it Iran can afford nukes. Let them get the bill for a minute.

They have done nothing but illustrate their incompetence as a nation, and their inability to understand the situation beyond their own rights to land they have never used to any international (or even private) benefit. I wanted it to be different, but I knew better...

I listened to this guy on TV, and jeez what a great lack of understanding he has. He really thinks Israel's national existence is his choice. He seems to not even really be in charge of the most inept country in the conflict, and its chaotic attempts to grow... and I would personally boot his ass from handling the score card at the bowling alley...
