Do it for one, do it for all...

And I ain't heard nobody talkin' bout doing that...Just Barry's...The truth of the matter is, there are some downright dispicable people in the hall of fame right now, but they produced on the diamond, and that's what counts...So, whether or not you like Barry, or feel he cheated....Doesn't really hold water...

If I can take the same shit Barry did...And walk to a baseball diamond and hit a Clemons fastball, then maybe...

But you still have to have skill, and know how to play the game for the steroids to even have an effect...If this were arm wrestling...Weight lifting..Sprinting...Then maybe, sure...

And further more, I'm still waiting on some concrete proof...

Shit, Jose Canseco worte a biography talking about his use or roids...And his damn wife even got naked in Playboy, and nobody talked about wiping his 40/40 off the books...

Why is Barry on this list, when there are people who are jumping up and down saying they took roids and they're being looked over..?

But don't you think steroids underminds what he accomplished? So what if he could hit 70 homeruns while on steriods. Roger Maris hit 62 without them. Third all time with steroids? Nothing.....Hank Aaron is first while not taking them and facing racism. If he took steriods then his stats aren't as impressive

"Roger Maris hit 62 without them"

And you know this is true for certain..?

What about all the other famed athletes who hold records around the world?

It's not like performance enhancing substances were invented in the 90's....

You can't start taking away accomplishments for stuff that you have no concrete way of finding out if it's been abused. Sure, we can all be ignorant and start pointing fingers and saying this guy took steriods..lets ban his records too.....

This is just a message to the commissoners in all sports....if you dont want this to happen....make stricter and better drug policies....otherwise, be prepared to face the consequences.

And like was mentioned above...juiced or not..Sosa v Maguire saved baseball.....fans want to see homeruns flying out of the park....everyone enjoyed watching Bonds beat the crap out of balls everyday....but now everyone's questioning wether or not this guy is even a capable baseball player without steriods? Get your facts straight..Bonds was a great player before he juiced....sure his numbers are now a bit inflated...but we can't start voiding his accomplishments...because he isnt the only player in sports to juice it up...and we have no real way of finding out who has and who hasn't.

Also, look at The Rocket...He is pitching as good now as he ever was...And he hasn't failed a drug test...Nobody is saying, "Roger must be juicing..."

How are we for certain that Barry Bonds is using juice, and not just really fucking good after spending 20 years hitting baseballs..? Or that pitching isn't as good as it used to be..?

And like LG said, Steroids ain't new Homez...They just wasn't news back then...Big Mac and Sosa went at it, Canseco wrote a book about him and Mac shooting up...Don't hear nobody talking about that...Damn shame, that without any concrete proof, Barry Bonds can't have his legacy without a mention of steroids...

Bonds has never failed a drug test...

Barry Bonds is one of the most talented athletes ever, and a real ass person...And rather than feel honored about seeing the greated player ever play the game in our life time, they're fucking running him away from the game of baseball...Horrible...

I've never been able to understand why Barry Bonds gets singled out in the steroid issue. Sure he's a dick but all he did was take advantage of the situation. It's like when a hitter goes to bat with a corked bat or a pitcher goes to the mound with pine tar and vaseline all over his body but THEY DON"T GET CAUGHT. Remember, it's not cheating if you're not caught and guess what, Bonds hasn't been caught. If anyone should get the blame for causing this entire mess it has to the baseball union, owners, and Bud Selig. That guy is a cancer to MLB. Baseball didn't have a steroid policy although they knew players were taking it. Selig wasn't about to ban steroids because huge offensive numbers meant stadiums were getting filled and everybody was geting paid. Baseball is more a business then a sport nowadays.

Bonds will pass Ruth this weekend against my Dodgers. That's about the most upsetting news I've had this sports year. The Lakers choking is a close second. Btw, fuck Canseco.

First of all, it's still cheating even if you aren't caught.

No one is saying that Bonds is the only one on steroids. I'm sure that some pitchers were on steroids also. I also think that it's not as evident in pitchers. They have to have run support behind them and if they just place one pitch in the wrong location then it could cost the game. But I'm sure that some pitchers take it.

Bonds is the easiest person to point out. He's not the only one but he's the easiest to blame. His success and confession saying that he used steroids without knowing it makes a strong case that he took them. No one does as well as he does at his age. This doesn't mean that it isn't possible, but very, very unlikely. For me, it's the confession of using them without knowledge of what it was. Come on, of course he knew what it was. He isn't just gonna take something that his trainer tells him without knowing what it's gonna do to his body

trash...

I'd just like to point out once again, that Barry Bonds has never failed a drug test...

So, I'm really just not understanding what you're talking about...

Nah, it's not cheating unless you're caught. When did drug testing start? A couple of years ago? If Bonds was taking steroids it wasn't against baseball policy and like AYHJA pointed out, he hasn't failed any of the drug testing so how can he be cheating? Everybody has at all wrong. Selig is the commissioner, he's the top guy, he's the one who failed to act, he's the one to blame.

When Bonds passes Ruth I'll watch and probably cheer, even though he's a Giant, because it's history in the making. SF plays my Dodgers 2 more times this weekend and I hope they finish the series without ending up as a stat.
