they're too well rounded.....and being 150 pounds....uh...no go.

How many kids do you know who are 16 years old....can squat and deadlift twice their weight.....and bench 75 pounds more than their weight.....

figure out what those numbers would be for you....and tell me if anyone you know was doing that as a sophomore in highschool unless they're a monster....in which case why would they need a workout plan....the one their doing obviously works.

I understand everyone likes to exagerate a bit online and in general about their accomplishments in the weight room....but come on now....

Yep, they make your numbers look like shit... /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Noel Divine, Deion Sander's kid, can be seen on a video benching 315, and he's prollie every bit of 150...I have the vid, and would love to share it with you if you haven't seen it...He'll be a Jr. this coming fall...

It's lifting weights...Shit, when I was in HS, if you couldn't bench 135, they called you everything but a child of God...Maybe working out up there where you are isn't as hardcore, but down here, dudes that lift be on weights like nobody's business...It's the country, ain't got shit to do but lift weights, as far as I'm concerned, those numbers are good and better than average, but not "Oh he must be exaggerating" type numbers...

I understood them to be max drops, am I right..?

I know tons of kids who put up those kinda numbers....myself included.....but at 150 pounds? Everyone I know putting up them numbers are like at least 220.......and nah...my school has the top 3 weightlifters in the state like every year... we get serious.

Is there some kind of hidden ratio I don't know about that says people 150 pounds can't bench x amount over their weight, or..? Is size directly related to how much you can bench or something..?

Or...Are you just hating...? /:D" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt=":D" />

You've gotta work on endurance, stamina, and quickness.

One thing that we do in baseball but our football team also does is the ladders. Put the ladders on the ground and do various footworks through them. Try to get faster and faster. Another thing is line jumping. We go into the gym and pick a line and jump over it as many times as possible in 15 sec. It's the perfect amount of time to work on endurance and conditioning. Something that I do on my own that has helped my speed alot is jumproping. I jump rope for up to 30 minutes a day and sometimes hit 45 min. It helps so much.

If you are interesting in the ladders and the lines I can PM you exactly what we do so you can get started. I'll tell you some numbers that aren't inflated that are related to these drills:

Our football team has made it to the semi-finals of the state tournament the past 2 years. This was after a 10 year drought of making the playoffs.

Our baseball team won the state championship 2 years ago and lost in the semi-finals last year. Past 4 years we have been undefeated in league.

These workouts have really helped our teams do well.
