Re: Fantasy Football 2008
Damn, this was a tough week for my team. None of my guys performed up to par which means I take my second loss of the season. Dammit...
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Re: Fantasy Football 2008
I just means you have one less loss than if you lost this week. As the standings will show Tuesday, your team, being 3-3-1, will be above my team at 3-4. And if I read this week's scoreboard right, the standings should be:
1) IO, 5-2 (higher total points tiebreaker)
2) Farves (TT), 5-2
3) 4th & Long, 4-3
4) Gunn, 3-3-1
5) Ninja (Ero), 3-4 (again higher point total tiebreaker)
6) All-Pro, 3-4
7) Belichickens (DL), 2-4-1
8) Mello, 2-5
I could be wrong if the league only counts wins, not winning percentage. Then you and I would switch places in the standings since I've scored more points than you. But I'm pretty sure it's by winning percentage, and you have less losses.

I'm losing to a guy that took off the first 6 weeks of the season....nice. I think this goes to prove I know as much about football as I do about the German obsession with David Hasselhoff.

Re: Fantasy Football 2008
Well, if you were to look at this roster in my only other league... could you even foresee that I have had a FIVE-GAME LOSING STREAK!?! :sick:darklighter1 wrote:I'm losing to a guy that took off the first 6 weeks of the season....nice. The Jet Offensive
QB Matt Schaub
WR Derrick Mason
WR Marques Colston
WR Roddy White
RB Clinton Portis
RB Maurice Jones-Drew
TE Antonio Gates
K Joe Nedney
DEF Baltimore
BN Kurt Warner
BN Willie Parker
BN Mewelde Moore
BN Le'Ron McClain
BN Kevin Curtis
BN Joey Galloway
I have had the worst luck this season in my league, with only 1 healthy WR #1/2 up until this last week, and he was on his bye, so I have to rely on such WRs backed by rookie QBs. Oh, also I benched Portis/MJD/McClain on separate weeks when the RB on my bench blew up for 20+ points. :hypno:

Well it looks like a great roster to me but then again like I said apparently I know nada about football...I just can't believe how bad I'm getting spanked this year.

Even with everything you've said, you're really only 1 game out of the playoffs with 6 weeks to go.
